Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Etheroute ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to abide by any part of these terms, please do not use this Service.

2. Description of Service

Etheroute is a cryptocurrency payments platform. It generates receiving wallets for your account on the blockchain networks it supports, hosts checkout pages and payment links, tracks confirmations, and lets you withdraw or convert your balances to an address you choose. The networks supported at any time are listed at /api/chains and on the status page.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.2 User Eligibility

By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Engage in any form of market manipulation or fraud
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or abuse others
• Interfere with the operation of the Service

5. Cryptocurrency Transactions

5.1 Transaction Accuracy

You are responsible for providing accurate wallet addresses and transaction details. The Service is not responsible for losses resulting from incorrect information provided by users.

5.2 Transaction Fees

A platform fee of 5% is applied to all withdrawals. Network fees may also apply depending on current blockchain conditions. These fees will be clearly displayed before transaction confirmation.

5.3 No Guarantee of Reversibility

Cryptocurrency transactions are generally irreversible. Once a transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, we cannot cancel or reverse it.

5.4 Closing a Wallet

You may close a wallet once it holds nothing you can still withdraw. Before closing, the Service checks the wallet's balance on its blockchain and refuses to close it while it holds an amount above the withdrawal minimum for that chain, or has a transaction in progress. Any amount remaining at the address when the wallet is closed - the platform fee held from earlier withdrawals, and any remainder below the withdrawal minimum - is retained by Etheroute. A closed wallet cannot be reopened, and its address should not be used to receive further payments; anything sent to it after closing is likewise retained.

6. Risk Disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" without any warranties. We are not responsible for:

• Market losses or price fluctuations
• Technical failures or network issues
• Third-party provider failures
• Losses due to user error or negligence

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Etheroute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Etheroute and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

10. Termination of Service

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to Section 12, you submit to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Virginia for any dispute that is not resolved by arbitration.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
